But I have to admit I did not make it the same way because I never pulled the post up to look at it.<br />But anyhow, for those of you who know my son Jacob, he hates everything but he keeps asking me to remake the pears, but he request I add some spices like cinnamon and nutmeg to it. He likes to cook. he can also tell what I am making just by smelling it cooking, even if it is something new I am trying.<br />So here is my recipe.<br /> 4 pears cut in half and seeds and middle core cleaned out<br />flour, I did not measure so maybe 1/2 cup<br />Oatmeal, I did not measure anything so I will guess 1 cup<br />1/4-1/2 cup butter...just make a crumb topping<br />1/2 cup maybe a little less, I just grabbed some out of the bag.<br />chopped pecans<br />mix flour, oatmeal, nuts, any spices you may add, butter and mix together. Fill cleaned out center of pear with this mixture and bake at 375 until brown.
